Coronavirus update : Unfortunately, breakfast club will remain closed in September 2020 to Harwell Primary School children due to being unable to keep pre-school and primary school year groups separate and carry out the required cleaning between the groups. We aim to re-open as soon as the government relaxes these restrictions.
Little Pippins also offers a Breakfast Club for both pre-school and school-aged children.
The Breakfast Club is open to any child aged from 3 to 11 years and exists to give children a warm, safe and friendly environment each weekday from 8.00am until the start of the school / pre-school day.
Children can arrive between 8.00am and 8.30am (8.20am if Breakfast is required) . At 8.40am the Walking Bus takes school-aged children to Harwell School. Depending on staffing, younger children will remain in the setting until the start of the Little Pippins morning session (9.15am), or will join the Walking Bus on the short walk to and from the School.
Breakfast is provided between 8.00 and 8.20am; the children can choose from a variety of breads, toast, cereals, fresh fruit, and yogurts together with a drink of milk, water or juice. Each week there is a different menu on offer. Breakfast Club Menu
Pre-school Parents can also opt to meet the Breakfast Club Walking Bus at Harwell School at 8.55am so that their pre-school children can be accompanied back to Little Pippins and supervised until the start of the morning session.
